The KYOTOGRAPHIE International Photography Festival is an annual event held in Kyoto over four weeks. Known as one of the world's leading photography events, KYOTOGRAPHIE has attracted around 380,000 visitors since 2013.
The exhibition is spread across Kyoto and is displayed in a creative fashion that will intrigue and impress. Expect to see people from all over the world attending the event alongside you.
Event Report (2018)
The theme for 2018 was "Up", which aims to draw new perspectives on moving upwards in the face of negative issues that might burden or pull us down. This can be in the form of personal or global issues.
The festival will feature a collection of photos that are in many ways bizarre and eye-catching, which adds to the allure of the event. This will encourage visitors' to look around, be aware, and hopefully change their mindsets positively in order to move "up" in their own ways.
