As summer evenings settle over Wakayama, Adventure World in Shirahama is preparing to fill the night sky with 500 illuminated drones. The Sense of Wonder Drone Show presented by TAKASHO DIGITEC will return for four nights during the Obon holiday, from August 13 to 16, following the huge response to the show held at the park during Golden Week.
The approximately 15-minute show begins at 8:20pm and is free for anyone with a valid park admission ticket. Visitors can watch from around the park as the drones transform the sky above Adventure World.
Set to Adventure World's "Sense of Wonder" theme song, the show brings together three stories inspired by the park's experiences: life and animals on land, the bonds between species during the Night Marine Live, and the limitless possibilities represented by the drones filling the sky.
The drone show is part of Night LIVE! Adventure, which gives visitors the chance to experience the park after dark. Other evening activities include Twilight Safari Hiking, where visitors can explore Safari World on foot as animals become more active in the cooler evening air, and Twilight Interaction Park, offering animal encounters, quizzes and feeding experiences.
The four-day Obon event will also feature a glowing penguin photo spot and limited-edition LED bracelets for up to 1,000 visitors each evening.
