The Sekido Museum of Art is currently hosting an exhibition of its blue and white ceramic arts collection in Tokyo.
Located by the famous Sumida River in north Tokyo, the museum's distinctive copper-sheet roofing, red-bricked hexagonal walls and slope connected floors set up an interesting design perspective for first time visitors.
Until early August, this unique building will see the Cool Breeze exhibition display the blue and white ceramic works of the museum's late benefactor, entrepeneur Senju Sato. Collected over a lifetime of artistic passion, Sato amassed a hundreds of pieces from not only Japan but also from places as diverse as England, Egypt, Vietnam, Iraq and China.
Please check the official website for further information on ticketing and closures.
