Rockabilly dancers with their 1950s inspired hairstyles

Off to a gentle start two couples take to the dancefloor

The rest of the dancers drinking beer in the afternoon sun

Into the swing of things all the dancers take to the floor

The dancer in denim is taking a break from his rather energetic dance moves

The crowd is entertained as one of the dancers hurdles over some of the other members on the floor

A few times one of the members on the side would throw an open beer into the air for a dancer to catch. This can hit the ground before anyone could get to it.

The rockabilly crew having a good time

Every Sunday rockabilly dance crews gather at the Harajuku entrance of Yoyogi Park and perform to 1950s rock ‘n roll music. On this particular Sunday the crew wore leather jackets bearing the name ‘The Lebels’ stitched onto the back.
