In a former post office annex attached to Yokohama Station, Asobuild has created an interactive indoor entertainment center that is likely to please visitors of any age.

The building is divided into sections by floor, with each area offering a different theme or targeted age.

On the rooftop, multiple courts are offered for sports and activities – visitors can play futsal or basketball or participate in baseball clinics with former professional ballplayers.

One floor down on 4F, the PuChu! Kids Park (opening in late May 2019) perfectly caters to the younger crowds, with play zones aimed at a variety of ages.

On the third floor, Monotory, visitors can get crafty at any of the 200 workshops offered by artisans, with products ranging from pottery to leather accessories to candles, among others.

Visit the Unko Museum

Those seeking a more challenging experience may want to try the Escape rooms on the second floor, or explore the quirky Unko Museum (until July 15th 2019), a technicolor exhibit devoted entirely to poop.

The wacky interior is spread across multiple zones with turd-shaped creations at every turn – almost designed to be as Instagram-friendly as possible.

When it’s time for a break, the first floor offers a host of dining and refreshment options, bringing together 18 local food and drink establishments. Whether your tastes run to stand-up sushi, ramen, curry or the city’s famous shumai (Chinese-style dumplings) from Kiyoken, you’ll find something to settle any appetite.

Below ground, the moody Pitch Club invites bar-goers to relax in the vintage, dim-lit lounge after hours.
