混雑した紅葉の名所を避けて、奥日光の湯元まで足を伸ばせば、静かな湖畔での心地よいひとときが待っている。湯元温泉と湯ノ湖は、徒歩わずか数分の距離にある。湖畔巡りの一時間の散歩の前に（後でも）、温泉につかって日頃の疲れを癒し、心身の緊張を解く。見渡せば、透き通るような湖面、山々を染める秋の彩り。そして静謐な湖畔の佇まい。川鱒釣りの解禁は、5月1日から9月30日まで。
