If you're in Tokyo in 2026 and have even a small connection to Doraemon, there's a new large-scale exhibition that you won't want to miss.

100% Doraemon & Friends has opened at Tokyo Dream Park in Ariake, bringing the global touring exhibition to Japan for the first time. It's described as the largest Doraemon event ever created, combining manga, anime, and film into a single experience that focuses heavily on immersion and physical scale.

Please note: Ticket prices differ depending on the day of the week that you visit. For more information, please visit the official site here.

Inside the exhibition, the layout is divided into themed areas. One section recreates Fujiko F. Fujio's actual workspace, showing how the series was developed and offering a closer look at the creative process behind the manga. Another area presents famous scenes from Tentomushi Comics in full-scale environments, allowing visitors to walk through familiar story moments.

There's also a corridor filled with Doraemon's different expressions, designed as a photo spot, alongside displays of original artwork that highlight the detail and style of the series. Additionally, a projection mapping room presents key scenes from all 45 volumes of the manga in a 3D environment that surrounds the viewer.

Film content is also included, with a dedicated area covering all 17 Doraemon feature films. Another highlight is the "Secret Gadget Room," where well-known items like the Bamboo Copter and Time Cloth are displayed at close range.

Outside the main building, the exhibition extends into Symbol Promenade Park and nearby walkways, including a large blue carpet installation and additional outdoor figures that continue the theme across the area.

For merchandise fans, this stop has a slightly different appeal. As the exhibition has toured internationally, it built up a range of exclusive goods that were originally only sold at overseas venues, including keychains, plush toys, and other collectibles not widely available in Japan. For the Tokyo edition, these items are now being brought together in one place for the first time.
