The view from the top of Mount Shibutsu takes you above the clouds.
Hikers enjoy a rest at the top. It’s especially nice in the bright sunshine during the morning. Shibutsu is located in Oze National Park. The park spans over three prefectures in the Kanto area. In late July, the marsh area was covered in fog after a few rainy days, but it was quite clear at the mountain top.
The mountain hike is a challenge, but novice hikers can enjoy a 6KM or 3KM hike through the marsh below the mountain.
